The Reel Life: Don't let go edition

7 June 2012

The Reel Life has had some emotional swings in the midst of online slots sessions, but we've never been so emotional that we decided to drive a car with someone holding on to the hood. Unfortunately for Stuart Morris, that's exactly what 37-year-old Suzanne Gilchrist decided to do after Lorne Stevenson, a guard at a shopping center in Falkirk, Scotland, approached her to inquire about an alleged theft. Morris was unfortunately in front of Gilchrist's car as she tried to speed away and got caught on the hood as Gilchrist drove nearly a quarter-mile with him on the hood. When she was forced to stop because of traffic ahead of her at a stoplight, Morris got up broke Gilchrist's windshield by kicking it to prevent her from going any further. Gilchrist has since apologized profusely, explaining that she was pregnant and "hormonal" at the time of the incident. The excuse didn't fly, however, as she ended up getting four years and three months in jail for the joy ride. Get in the fast land Grandma, this bingo game is ready to roll!
