The Palms brings back 'Ditch Fridays' pool party

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Palms Casino Resort Pool and Dayclub, home to the illustrious pool party "Ditch Fridays," is now serving up its exclusive daylife experience seven days a week at Palms Casino Resort. Featuring luxury lounging options, live entertainment, a delicious dining and cocktail menu and more, guests are invited to relish in the high-energy atmosphere and quality amenities all season long.

Ditch Fridays returns 5 May with DJ Five on the turn tables. Palms Pool and Dayclub will continue its party vibe with a DJ lineup on Fridays, Saturdays and some Sundays throughout the summer.

The schedule for May 2017 includes:

A unique poolside experience with a twist, Palms Pool and Dayclub allows guests to soak up the sun with exclusive VIP cabanas and daybeds, lush lounge chairs and plenty of bottle service options. Each cabana is outfitted with top-of-the-line amenities, including spacious seating and 32-inch flat screen televisions, complete with a personal cocktail server. Guests who prefer to be in the center of the action can bask in the sun on cozy daybeds and lily pads starting as low as $50.

To complement the poolside experience, guests can enjoy breakfast selections from the poolside menu including smoothies, breakfast bowls and fresh pressed juices. The Palms Pool menu also offers a variety of refreshing cocktails, light bites and appetizers, seasonal salads and delicious sandwiches. Signature cocktails include Blackberry Crush (vodka, lemon juice, rock candy syrup, blackberries, mint, sprite), Summer Delight (pineapple rum, sweet and sour, pineapple juice, sprite, float of Midori) and Java Monkey (banana rum, Kahlua, piña colada purée), to name a few — all served in a pineapple. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage packages are also available for larger parties.

Palms Pool and Dayclub is open Sundays through Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for all ages, and Fridays and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for guests 21 and up. Palms Pool offers complimentary entry for all hotel guests with valid room key and local industry with valid I.D. work badge or business card (Friday-Saturday before noon); and non-hotel guests starting at $10 for ladies and $20 for gentlemen (cover charge is subject to change and LET).
