"The Mouth" to host class at Pala Casino24 February 2010PALA, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Professional poker player Mike "The Mouth" Matusow, the dean of Deepstacks University, an interactive poker training web site, will teach a special five-hour poker training class starting at 10 a.m., Friday, March 12, in the Events Center at Pala Casino Spa & Resort. The entry fee will be $495 per person. But, starting at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 24, Pala will host 10-player, single-table satellite tournaments for a $63 buy-in and the winner of each tournament will win a seat in Matusow's training class. Those 10-player satellite tournaments will be held at 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. each day until Thursday, March 11. Matusow will teach winning strategies for tournament and live-game poker and will provide students a one-on-one poker analysis at the tables. Each participant also will receive a copy of Matusow's new book, "Check Raising the Devil." Matusow, a resident of Las Vegas, NV, is a three-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner and the winner of the 2005 World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions. He earned his nickname for his spirited style of play. |
