Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords to open at Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe8 June 2026(PRESS RELEASE) -- Lake Tahoe is about to get a whole lot louder. Tessie's Cocktails & Chords, the rustic and rollicking new live music lounge making its home on the casino floor at Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe, will throw open its doors with a weeklong grand opening celebration beginning Friday, 3 July, with nightly parties through American Century Championship Week, building to a full red carpet blowout on Saturday, 11 July. Tessie's arrives as the Tahoe cousin to Clique Hospitality's legendary Las Vegas live music haunts, Caspian's Cocktails and Caviar at Caesars Palace and The Barbershop Cuts and Cocktails at The Cosmopolitan, which have drawn surprise performances by music legends, including Rock & Roll Hall of Famers. The list includes Sir Rod Stewart, Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak, Zac Brown, Dave Matthews, Sammy Hagar, Chad Kroeger of Nickelback, Machine Gun Kelly, Travis Barker of Blink-182 and Howie Dorough of the Backstreet Boys. Tessie’s will bring the same allure and untamed spirit north to the Sierra Nevada. Live rock and country by touring-caliber musicians will fuel the party seven nights a week, backed by killer craft cocktails and a mountain soul that will keep the crowd dancing from the hot summer nights straight through apres ski parties come winter. The stage will come alive seven nights a week with solo artists and duos from 8 to 9:30 p.m. before full bands take over from 10 p.m. to late. Opening weekend will get a proper sendoff with Sonic Zoo, a collective of internationally touring, multi-platinum artists bringing arena-level energy to the stage, headlining Friday, 3 July and Saturday, 4 July. Ziggy Zeno will open both nights, setting the tone for a weekend of nonstop rock 'n' roll. The momentum will roll straight into American Century Championship Week with nightly parties and live music throughout the week, starting on Monday, 6 July. On Wednesday, 8 July, local live rock band Bread & Butter will take the stage for an open-to-the-public event hosted by a surprise guest, a 1990s television sitcom favorite. The week will culminate on Saturday, 11 July, with a show-stopping performance by The 442s to officially commemorate Tessie’s grand opening. Sailing Club, a yacht rock-fueled Thursday night series, will launch July 9, and Faded Karaoke will kick off every Tuesday beginning July 14, giving guests the chance to unleash their inner rock star backed by Tessie's live house band starting at 10 p.m. When the snow flies, Amped Apres will run throughout ski season, serving as a high-energy landing pad after a day on the slopes before the night's entertainment gets cranking. The bar program at Tessie's is as thoughtfully crafted as the music lineup, featuring craft cocktails built on rare and carefully sourced spirits alongside champagne, wine, and draft and bottled beer. Signature cocktails include the Sweet Child O-Pine Old Fashioned, made with bourbon, local pine sugar and walnut bitters; Altitude Adjustment, made with vodka, Chareau aloe liqueur, kiwi, lychee, lime and coconut water; Stateline Sunset, with rum, Trader Vic’s Macadamia Nut Liqueur, lime, pineapple, orange, coconut and grenadine; Devil’s Peak, a combination of bourbon, Ancho Reyes chile liqueur, lime, mango and ancho chili dust; and Soft Static, made with Polanco Tequila, hibiscus, lime and Fever-Tree Sparkling Pink Grapefruit. Tessie’s will also serve an extensive spirits selection and elevated bottle service offerings, including vodka, tequila, mezcal, gin, whiskey, cognac and rum. Designed by New York-based Celano Design Studio Co., Tessie's channels the rugged romance of mountain life through an immersive aesthetic that blends vintage ski lodge charm with contemporary sophistication. Antique mahogany, white oak plank walls, black basalt, aged bronze and worn leather set the stage for a warm yet electric gathering place. A monolithic 1886-vintage fireplace anchors the cozy lounge, while tufted leather sectionals, rustic wood tables and cowhide rugs create intimate pockets throughout the room. Tessie's Cocktails & Chords will be open daily from 11 a.m. to late. Parking validation will be available to guests with bar tabs of $30 or more. |
