Tessie's Cocktails & Chords to transform into haunted saloon for Halloween28 September 2026(PRESS RELEASE) -- Tessie's Cocktails & Chords, the live music and craft cocktail lounge at Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe, will go all out for Halloween, with costume contests, spooky decor and a live “Thriller” tribute set by R&B band Full Blast, on Saturday, 24 October and Saturday, 31 October. The frightful festivities will kick off on Saturday, 24 October, with Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe’s Fright Night Halloween crawl. Starting at 9 p.m., guests are invited to show off their best costumes at Tessie’s, with the scariest look taking home a $1,000 prize. The haunting will continue on Saturday, 31 October, when Tessie’s transforms into a haunted saloon, featuring a $3,000 costume contest and a full night of live entertainment, starting at 8 p.m. Reno-based cover band Full Blast will take the stage at 10 p.m., including a set covering Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” album. The costume contest will take place in two rounds, with the winners being crowned at 12:15 a.m. The first-place winner will take home $1,500, the second-place winner will win $1,000 and the third-place prize is $500. Reservations are available at TessiesTahoe.com, and walk-ins are always welcome. Tessie's is open from 5 p.m. to late Thursday through Monday. Parking validation is available to guests with bar tabs of $30 or more. |
