Suncoast Casino Summer Results Up

DURBAN, South Africa – As reported by the South Africa Business Report: "Tsogo Sun's Suncoast Casino fared well over the holiday season, despite a staff strike that lasted almost a month.

"Marketing manager Robbie Naidoo said yesterday that the casino was one of the busiest entertainment destinations in the country, with about 650 000 people walking in every month, which equated to 21 000 people a day.

"…The staff strike, which began in mid-July and lasted a month, was largely around the issue of salary increases.

"…The Suncoast complex ploughs about R2.5 million into the Durban economy every day…"
