Smoking ban prompts new patio for Mountaineer casino

CHESTER, W. Virginia -- A new outdoor patio will be built at the Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack and Resort, the Metro News reported.

The patio is a response to the smoking ban which was be in effect from July 1, the report said.

The concern was that gamblers might flee to other neighbouring states if the smoking ban proved inconvenient or impeded their casino experience, the Metro News said.
