Singapore: Community feels financial benefit of new casinos

SINGAPORE -- Entrance fees charged to enter Singapore's new casinos are already being reinvested into the community, according to the Strait Times.

The system established is to funnel the money back is via the Tote Board, who are given all monies collected, the report said.

The Tote Board distributes the money in the form of grants to community projects in six different areas that include arts, health, education and sports, the Strait Times report explained.
