25 July 2018

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Seventh Annual Grand Dragon Master Baccarat Championship kicks off the Las Vegas leg of the competition on 27 July 2018 at The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas. The global championship is also held at Las Vegas Sands properties in Macao and Singapore.

The Grand Dragon Master Baccarat Championship provides baccarat enthusiasts the ultimate tournament experience. Las Vegas players can compete for a portion of a $1 million prize pool over three tournaments – the $200,000 Golden Dragon Baccarat Tournament, the $300,000 Ruby Dragon Baccarat Tournament, and the $750,000 Royal Dragon Baccarat Tournament – all culminating in the Global Final held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore in 2019.

The $200,000 Golden Dragon Baccarat Tournament takes place from 27 July through 30 July and 3 August through 6 August. This tournament features a $25,000 daily prize pool, paid out to 80 winners each day. All Grazie members receive one complimentary tournament entry per day. Unlimited rebuys can be purchased for $50. The top three daily winners in the Golden Dragon Baccarat Tournament will automatically advance to the Ruby Dragon Baccarat Tournament.

The traditional table game of baccarat has taken on a new level of popularity with American audiences, so much so that The Venetian Las Vegas and The Palazzo have taken strides to make the game much more accessible to players with traditional tables available from only a $25 minimum bet, as well as Imperial Baccarat – a live dealt $5 minimum baccarat game played on an electronic betting terminal.
