September 2014 special events at Seminole Casino Immokalee18 August 2014Touchdown to Cash Seminole Casino Immokalee is celebrating football season with a football-themed promotion and screenings of football games throughout the casino. On Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, beginning August 25 until September 29, “Touchdown to Cash” drawings will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with one winner each hour. The winner will be allowed to select four footballs out of 22 displayed on the football field game board. Each player will begin at the 20-yard line, and the footballs will contain the amount of yards the player will advance down the field. Each yard line will represent a cash amount. The player will be awarded the amount associated with the yard line that the player ends on. Lucky players will win from $250 to $5,000 cash. Players may earn entries from August 26 to September 29. Enjoy all the NFL action on the 102-inch TV at the Zig Zag Lounge, the area’s only lounge with nightly entertainment and no last call or cover. Football fans can also watch the games throughout the casino, which features more than 20 TVs. Charity Slot Tournament to Benefit Wounded Warrior Anglers Seminole Casino Immokalee will host a special charity slot tournament to benefit Wounded Warrior Anglers on Sunday, September 14 from noon to 8 p.m. The tournament is open to all Player’s Club members and new members who are 21 years of age or older. The donation fee is $10 per player, with $5 going to Wounded Warrior Anglers and $5 to the prize pool, which will be distributed among four players. The primary mission of Wounded Warrior Anglers is to help rehabilitate the mind, body and soul of all service members who have been injured, wounded or disabled in the line of duty, no matter what their era of service. The organization’s secondary mission is to actively support the wounded warrior's caregiver and immediate family.
