Attendees must be 21. Parking is free. MC Magic is a Mexican-American rapper, singer and producer widely recognized for pioneering bilingual Latino hip-hop ballads. Born in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, and raised in Avondale, Ariz., he founded Nasty Boy Records and became an influential voice in the Latin hip-hop scene through solo work and his group NB Ridaz. MC Magic is celebrated for his smooth, romantic hip-hop style that blends English and Spanish lyrics. Magic's breakthrough as a solo artist came with the release of his sophomore album, “Magic City,” in 2006. The album cemented his status as a solo act and peaked at number one on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart. This success was bolstered by hit singles like "All My Life" and "Sexy Lady," which featured collaborations with artists like DJ Kane of the Kumbia Kings. He later followed up with highly successful projects like “Magic City Part II” in 2008. |
