San Diego poker player wins River Card Halloweekend Tourney

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Michael Kaplitz, a poker player from San Diego, CA, won $4,846 and the championship of the Pala River Card Halloweekend poker tournament after an agreement to a two-way safety chop Sunday, 30 October, at Pala Casino Spa and Resort.

Kaplitz held the most chips and he and Howard Mazer of Mission Viejo, CA, agreed to the chop after four days of poker action. Mazer won $4,845 for second place.

A total of 216 players vied for the $31,350 prize pool and 22 finalists cashed.

All 22 winners included:
