S.D. man hits a $237,287 jackpot

DEADWOOD, South Dakota -- As reported by the Rapid City Journal: "Charles Teply of Wolsey said he was 'randomly playing different machines' on Monday and got a good feeling about winning the Wheel of Fortune quarters game at Deadwood Gulch Resort.

"He won $284 earlier on the slot machine and went back. Twenty dollars later, his retirement nest egg grew to $237,287.

"The jackpot winner said in a news release that he 'never expected something like this in my lifetime.'

"Teply is the first MegaJackpot game winner at the resort this year and the fourth there since 1992. The game is part of a city-wide network, where combined play builds the grand prize until someone wins the jackpot..."
