Deadwood casinos begin to reopen this week5 May 2020According to the Deadwood Chamber of Commerce in South Dakota, casino properties, along with numerous restaurants, bars, and other attractions and businesses, have announced reopening plans for this week. "Thanks to a strong commitment and respect for the principle of personal responsibility, South Dakotans have dramatically changed the trajectory of our initial COVID-19 projections," said Governor Kristi Noem. "With our hospitalization capacity currently at a manageable level, South Dakotans are asked to consider (steps listed in a "Back to Normal Plan") as we look to get back to normal." Here are the casino properties and their projected reopening dates: Buffalo Bodega Gaming Complex: Opening May 8 Bullock Hotel & Casino: Opening May 15 Cadillac Jack's Gaming Resort: Casino will open at 8 a.m. May 7. Celebrity Hotel & Casino: Opening May 11 Deadwood Gulch Gaming Resort: TBD Deadwood Mountain Grand Hotel & Casino: Casino open at 8 a.m. May 7. Deadwood Station Bunkhouse and Gambling Hall: Opening May 7 First Gold Hotel & Gaming: TBD Gold Country Inn: Opening May 13 Gold Dust Casino and Hotel: Opening May 7 Hickok's Hotel and Gaming: Opening 8 a.m. May 7 Iron Horse Inn: TBD The Lodge at Deadwood Gaming Resort: Opening May 7 Wooden Nickel Casino: Opening May 15 Mineral Palace Hotel and Gaming: Slots open May 7, table games TBD Mustang Sally's: Opening May 21 Oyster Bay Casino: Opening on June 15 Old Style Saloon 10: May 21 Silverado Franklin Historic Hotel and Gaming Complex: Opening 8 a.m. on Thursday, May 7 (poker room TDB, all other games open) Lucky 8 Casino and Super-8 Motel : May 7 at 8am Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort: Opening May 7 |
