Revel casino to open in Atlantic City next May 1525 May 2011ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- It was disclosed Tuesday that the Revel Casino is planned to open May 15, 2012, The Press of Atlantic City reported. The announcement, which came out during the East Coast Gaming Congress, came as a surprise since the opening date has been closely guarded, the report explained. The casino project recently got its funding back on track having been stalled, The Press of Atlantic City said. The casino is expected to create over 5,000 jobs once open, along with the employment created by the construction process, the Press of Atlantic City noted. |
