Resort's Slots Claim Outdated

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey – As reported by the Press of Atlantic City: "Gamblers driving into town might think their best bet is to play the slot machines at Resorts Atlantic City.

"After all, the casino advertises in big letters the 'Loosest Overall Slots!' on a Black Horse Pike billboard.

"…Resorts' claim is based on 2002 data, when the casino did indeed have the loosest slots - a 92.25 percent payout for the full year.

"…The state 31/2 years ago lifted its restriction against advertising casino odds, but warned casinos that the ads cannot be false or misleading.

"'That is definitely something we would be concerned about and would address. The regulations specify that you can say things like that (advertising odds), but you have to be accurate within a reasonable degree,' Division of Gaming Enforcement spokeswoman Kerry Hand said…"
