Resorts Atlantic City has plenty of April promotions

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Resorts Casino Hotel announced that it will offer its card holders chances to win thousands in free slot play every Sunday in a April, a chance to play in a private, invitation-only $100,000 winner-take-all blackjack tournament, and a chance to win a trip to the 2011 Kentucky Derby. To be eligible to win, players must activate their Resorts card on the date of the corresponding promotion. Players can activate their Resorts card by playing their favorite table game or slot machine with their card inserted into a card reader at any time on the date of the promotion. Winners will be randomly selected.

Every Sunday in April, Resorts Card holders can win their share of thousands in free slot play. Resorts will randomly select one winner every 30 minutes from 1pm to 6pm to receive $1,000 in free Slot Cash. Players are eligible to win multiple drawings. If the winner is an Elite or Ultra card holder, that player will win double the amount, equating to $2,000 in free Slot Cash.

On April 17, Resorts is hosting a private $100,000 winner-take-all blackjack tournament. This is an exclusive, invitation only event, with one exception. All Resorts Card holders are invited to play in a qualifying tournament on Friday, April 16. The winner of the qualifying tournament will automatically advance to the final table in Saturday's tournament, and have a 1 in 7 chance at winning $100,000. The qualifying tournament will be held from 5pm to midnight on the casino floor. Resorts Card holders who activate their card through casino play on Friday, April 16 will have one entry into the qualifier.

All Resorts card holders can also have a chance to win a trip to the 2011 Kentucky Derby. Resorts card holders will earn entries into the sweepstakes drawing on May 1 by playing slots or tables from April 1 through May 1. The winner of the trip will receive airfare for two, ground transportation to and from the airport and to and from the Derby, dinner for two at the Maker's Mark restaurant, premium seating at the 2011 Kentucky Derby, and hotel accommodations. The sweepstakes drawing will be held on Saturday, May 1 at 8:30pm. The winner will be announced in the casino.

To be eligible for all promotions and sweepstakes, players must be members of the Resorts Casino Club. Casino players can sign up for their free Resorts card at the promotions center located in the casino. Winners will have 10 minutes to claim their prize. Slot Cash is non-cashable slot credits that cannot be converted into cash and must be wagered or abandoned once credited to the slot machine.
