Red Hawk Casino delays reopening to 8 June

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians tribal leadership and gaming management team have decided to postpone the reopening of Red Hawk Casino until Monday, 8 June at 2 p.m.

The Tribe made this decision based on the latest and updated public health information, and to ensure the safest possible environment for its employees and guests. The Tribe is implementing the below protective guidelines.
  • Request that guests maintain six feet social distancing from other casino guests not residing in the same household
  • Requiring temperature checks with thermal cameras of guests and team members at all casino entrances
  • Requiring face masks or face coverings for guests and team members
  • Reduce the number of open slot machines and seating at table games
  • Providing additional hand sanitizing stations throughout the casino
  • Implementing casino-wide chip cleaning
  • Cleaning and sanitizing commonly touched surfaces with higher frequency
  • Guests can request additional sanitation directly at the slot machines
  • Retraining all team members on proper hand washing and sanitizing procedures
  • Reducing seating in restaurants and utilizing disposable paper menus
  • No self-serve food or beverages
The health and safety of the Tribe’s guests and employees remains the top priority, and the Casino will be implementing all necessary measures to ensure guests enjoy a safe and healthy experience.
