Pala will show Mayweather-Cotto on big screens

PALA, Calif. (PRESS RELEASE) - Southern California boxing fans can view the Floyd "Money" Mayweather, Jr. versus Miguel Cotto 12-round title fight for the WBA (Super) light middleweight championship LIVE on Pala’s big screens starting at 6 p.m., Saturday, May 5, at Pala Casino Resort and Spa. The fight will be televised in the Pala Events Center and throughout the casino. The undercard also will feature the 12-round WBC light middleweight title bout between Saul Canelo Alvarez and Sugar Shane Mosley.

VIP reserved seat tickets, $15, and general admission seating, $10, in the Events Center may be purchased at the Pala Box Office in the casino or by calling 1-877-946-7252, with no service charge, or at www.startickets.com, 1-800-585-3737.

Mayweather, 42-0-0 with 28 knockouts, will move up a weight division to meet Cotto, 37-2-0, 30 KOs, who is The Ring’s number one ranked (Super) light middleweight. Mosley is 45-7-1 with 39 KOs, and will fight Alvarez, 39-0-1, 29 KOs, for Alvarez’ WBC light middleweight belt.

Pala also will televise the big horse race from Kentucky LIVE starting at 3 p.m. in Infinity and throughout the casino prior to the LIVE boxing event.
