Pala releases November poker schedule17 October 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- Southern California poker players will have more opportunities to win extra cash at Pala Casino Spa and Resort in November when the Poker Room will host the Fallen Soldier Charity tournament at 1 p.m., Saturday, 5 November, and the five-day Quantum Re-Load tournament, 16-20 November. Pala Poker also will introduce a new Saturday Double tournament that will be played at noon and 8 p.m. each Saturday when major tournaments do not conflict. Pala Poker also will continue to stream LIVE 2-3-5 No Limit Hold'em action from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. each Friday and Saturday on Facebook. Pala Poker will continue its Monday Night Football High Hand promotion and its popular Thursday Deep Stack Turbo and Friday Night 2K tournaments along with the High Hand Frenzy promotion each Sunday. Other popular promotions that will continue include the Cash Prize Wheel, $100 Hourly High Hand, Thursday High Hand/Flush Marathon (no rollover), Limit and No Limit, the Chase For The Dough and the Limit Flush Marathon. Players can participate in The Fallen Soldier Charity tournament, 1 p.m., Saturday, 5 November, with a $55 donation to Our Fallen Soldier, a non-profit, organization at Camp Pendleton that helps the families of U.S. military personnel. Players will start with $5,000 in chips and there will be a $20 staff buy for $1,200 additional as well as a $20 re-buy/add-on. The first-place winner will receive $1,000. The Saturday Double, noon and 8 p.m., on Saturdays will have a $30 buy-in and $6,000 in starting chips. There will be a $10 optional staff buy for $2,000 additional chips and a $20 re-buy/add-on for $8,000. Re-entry and late entry will be allowed up to three levels. This tournament will not be played on 5 November and 18 November. The five-day Quantum Reload will offer $20,000 estimated. The schedule will include: Day 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D and 1E – 6 p.m., Wednesday, 16 November, 17 November, 18 November, Noon, 19 November, 6 p.m., 19 November; $80 buy-in; re-entry to first four levels. Buy-in will be $60 prize pool, $20 entry; $10,000 starting chips; $50 optional add-on for $15,000 additional chips; 15 percent of Day 1A, B, C, D and E advance to Day 2 and receive payment. Day 2 – 1 p.m., Sunday, 20 November; $550 buy-in ($500 + $50); no late registration Players who register on Day 2 will start with $180,000 in chips; $10 bonus buy for $3,000 additional. Remaining monthly tournaments include: Thursday Deep Stack Turbo: 7:15 p.m.; the buy-in will be $45+$10 with a $1,200 guarantee and a $10 optional staff buy. Chips will be $20,000/$5,000 and there will be $10 bounties. This tournament will not be played 27 October. Friday Night 2K: 7:15 p.m.; the buy-in will be $35+$5 with a $2,000 guarantee and a $5 optional staff buy. Chips will be $4,000/$2,000. Late and re-entries will be allowed to three levels with a full stack. This tournament will not be played October 28. The Monday Night Football High Hand will be in play from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. each Monday during the NFL season. The high hand each hour will have the opportunity to spin the cash wheel and win a cash amount or an envelope with cash. The Frenzy will award $100 to the High Hand every half hour from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays. Other continuing promotions will be $100 Hourly High Hand, which will be in play from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Monday and Wednesday for all Texas Hold'em games and the Cash Prize Wheel, which will be in play every day and will award up to $200 for any quads or higher.; the Thursday High Hand and Flush Marathon, with no rollover, which will be in play from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and the Limit and No Limit from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and the Limit Flush Marathon from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Friday for 3-6-9 limit and above. Chase for the Dough will be in play from Midnight, 1 November, until midnight, 30 November, with a $10,000 prize pool. Players win by accumulating live-play hours.
