Pala poker schedule November 2012

PALA, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Southern California poker players can win more cash in November at Pala Casino Resort and Spa when the Poker Room sponsors four major tournaments and continues its popular “Chase for the Dough.” Hot promotions that also will continue include High Hand from noon to 8 p.m. each Sunday; Cash Drawings from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17; the Flush Marathon, noon to midnight, each Wednesday (except. Nov. 28); the $500 All-in or Fold’em Free Roll at 7 p.m. every Tuesday and the Monday Night Football Splash.

The Ladies International Poker Series (LIPS) kicks off the tournament schedule at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3. The buy-in is $100+$25 and each player will start with $8,000 in chips. There will be an optional $5 staff bonus buy for an additional $2,000 in chips and blinds will be 25 minutes.

A Veteran’s Day Tournament will be played at 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11. The buy-in is $40+$10 and each player will start with $5,000 in chips. There will be a $5 optional staff bonus buy for an additional $2,000 in chips and this tournament will have a $2,500 guarantee. Blinds will be 20 minutes.

Two Player Appreciation tournaments will be played at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, and Sunday, Nov. 25. The buy-ins will be $10+$5 and players will start with $2,000 in chips. There will be a $5 optional staff bonus buy for an additional $1,000 in chips and there will be a $1,000 guaranteed prize pool. Blinds will be 15 minutes.

The Chase for the Dough will start at midnight Nov. 1, with a $10,000 prize fund. Players earn cash rebates for live play hours until midnight Nov. 30. Forty hours earns $60; 60 hours, $200; and 80 hours, $400. The rebates are payable at any time after the tiers are met. When players cash out, hours return to zero.

Pala Poker’s popular Flush Marathon promotion will return from noon to midnight each Wednesday, except Nov. 28, and the $500 All-In or Fold’em Free Roll will continue at 7 p.m. each Tuesday. The first player who hits all four flushes in the Flush Marathon will win $350 and the second will win $150. If no one hits, the prizes will roll over to the following Wednesday. Vouchers will be distributed during live play for the All-In or Fold’em Free Roll minimum of two live hours per week.

The High Hand will pay $50 per hour from noon to 8 p.m. each Sunday and Cash Drawings, $150 per hour, will be held from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17. A name will be drawn until there is a winner and entries can be earned until Nov. 17.

Each Monday during Monday Night Football, the poker room will splash one random table after each score by the visiting or home team. A field goal will splash $25; a touchdown, $50; and a safety, $100.
