Pala named one of spaAwards top 100 in America for 201221 June 2012PALA, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Pala Spa at Pala Casino Resort and Spa has been selected one of the top 100 spas in the United States by spaAwards, a national award program that recognizes the creativity and service provided by the top spas in the industry. The announcement was made today by Roger Sholanki, the chief executive officer of Book4Time, the web-based reservation management company that founded the spaAwards in 2010. More than 1,000 spas were nominated and the criteria for the award include website creativity, ease in booking appointments, online reservations, gift cards or loyalty programs, innovative spa treatments, unique marketing programs and overall guest satisfaction. “There are more than 20,000 spas in the United States. To be nominated by our guests and then selected one of the top 100 best in the country is a tremendous honor for Spa Director Zita Sims, her entire staff and all of our team members,” said Bill Bembenek, Pala’s chief executive officer. The Pala Spa is a 10,000-square-foot oasis designed to revive, refresh and rejuvenate. Each of its 14 treatment rooms offers the option of outdoor treatments on an adjoining patio. Pala Spa features two Couples Suites, a complete salon, a retail boutique and separate men's and women’s locker rooms with personal lockers, private shower and dressing facilities, outdoor showers, Swiss showers, eucalyptus steam rooms, sauna and whirlpools. Details such as bamboo floors, mosaic tile, wood accents and creative water fountains create a serene sanctuary. “Winning a spaAward is a remarkable achievement in this industry. It shows you are a trusted brand with an innovative approach to business,” Sholanki said. The 2012 top 100 spaAward is not Pala Spa’s first national recognition. Previously, it was selected Best Casino Spa by Spas of America and Best Casino Spa by the Southern California Gaming Guide. |
