Pala donates over $13,000 to Red Cross for Philippines relief3 December 2013PALA, Calif. -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Pala Casino Resort and Spa's Getting Involved in Volunteer Events and Services (G.I.V.E.S) program together with the Pala Band of Mission Indians today donated $13,048 to the American Red Cross for Philippines Relief. Team members at Pala Casino today presented a check to the San Diego chapter of the American Red Cross. All funds will help in the recovery effort from the typhoon that struck the country last month. Pala team members from each department in the casino participated and the Pala tribe added its donation to their efforts. |
