Pala Casino releases March poker schedule

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Southern California poker players will have more opportunities to win extra cash at Pala Casino Spa and Resort in March when the Poker Room hosts four Vegas Seat tournaments and its Pala Super Deep Stack and Friday Night 2K events. Pala Poker also will continue its popular High Hand of the Hour, Sunday High Hand Frenzy, Rolling High Hands and Chase for the Dough promotions. Pala Poker will continue to stream LIVE 2-3-5 No-Limit Hold'em action from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. each Friday and Saturday on Facebook.

The four Vegas Seat tournaments will be the Seniors Seat at 10 a.m., Saturday, 3 March; the Omaha Seat at 6 p.m., Thursday, 8 March; the Casino Employees Seat at 6 p.m., Thursday, 15 March, and the $10,000 Seat Guarantee from 21-25 March.

The Pala Super Deep Stack will be played at 3 p.m. each Saturday, except 24 March. The buy-in will be $125 and chips will be $30,000/$10,000 with an optional $15 staff bonus buy. Re-entries will be for three levels, and blinds will be 30 minutes.

The Friday Night 2K will start at its regular 7:15 p.m. time. The buy-in will be $40+$10 with a $2,000 guarantee. Chips will be $4,000/$2,000 with a $5 optional staff buy and a $20 add-on for $10,000 chips. Late and re-entries will be allowed to four levels with a full stack.

The 2018 Seniors Vegas Seat tournament will start at 10 a.m., Saturday, 3 March. The buy-in will be $125 and there will be one $1,000 guaranteed seat. Chips will be $7,000/$3,000 with a $5 optional staff bonus buy. Re-entries will be for four levels and blinds will be 20 minutes. Every $1,000 accumulated in the prize pool will be awarded one seat. Any remaining amount less than $1,000 will be awarded to the next qualifying position. A minimum of 10 players will be required to honor the guarantee.

The 2018 Omaha Vegas Seat tournament will start at 6 p.m., Thursday, 8 March. The buy-in will be $100 with one $1,500 guaranteed seat. Chips will be $7,000/$2,000 with a $5 optional staff bonus buy. Re-entries will be for four levels and blinds will be 30 minutes. Every $1,500 accumulated in the prize pool will be awarded one seat. Any remaining amount less than $1,500 will be awarded to the next qualifying position. A minimum of 10 players will be required to honor the guarantee.

The 2018 Casino Employees Vegas Seat tournament will start at 6 p.m., Thursday, 15 March. The buy-in will be $70, and there will be one $565 guaranteed seat. Chips will be $5,000/$3,000 with a $5 optional staff bonus buy. Re-entries will be for four levels and blinds will be 20 minutes. Every $565 accumulated in the prize pool will be awarded one seat. Any remaining amount less that $565 will be awarded to the next qualifying position. A minimum of 10 players will be required to honor the guarantee.

The Vegas $10,000 Seat Guarantee tournament will be played starting on Wednesday, 21 March, and will conclude on Sunday, 25 March. The buy-in will be $175 with one $10,000 seat guaranteed. Chips will be $10,000/$15,000 with one $50 add-on. Re-entries and late entries will be for six levels. Day 1 blinds will be 20 minutes and Day 2 blinds 30 minutes.

The schedule includes:
  • Day 1, Wednesday, 21 March – 6 p.m.
  • Day 2, Thursday, 22 March - 6 p.m.
  • Day 3, Friday, 23 March – 6 p.m.
  • Day 4, Saturday, 24 March – 3 p.m.
  • Day 5, Sunday, 25 March – 1 p.m.
The High Hand of the Hour will be in play from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Monday through Saturday and will award $100 for Hold'em. The Sunday High Hand Frenzy will be in play from noon to 8 p.m., and the high hand every half hour will receive $100. Rolling High Hands will be in play from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. each Thursday. The Chase for the Dough will offer players the opportunity to win cash for live play. Forty hours will earn $60; 60 hours, $200, and 80 hours, $400.
