Pala Casino poker schedule for November 2015

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Southern California poker players will have more opportunities to win extra cash at Pala Casino Spa and Resort in November when the Poker Room introduces a new series of No Limit Hold’em tournaments and two new promotions, “Limit Fest Saturdays” and a Black Friday Weekend Flush Marathon that will be in play November 27-29.

Pala Poker also will continue its popular Thursday Deep Stack Turbo and Friday Night 2K tournaments and ongoing popular promotions that will include the High Hand, the No Limit Rolling Hourly High Hand, the Limit Flush Marathon and the Chase for the Dough.

The new No Limit Hold’em series will be played on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday each week starting Sunday, November 1.

The Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday tournaments will start at 11 a.m. and have a $20+$5 buy-in with a $5 optional staff buy. Chips will be $5,000/$2,000 and there will be one, $20 add-on for $7,000 in chips. Levels will be 20 minutes.

The Wednesday tournaments will start at 7:15 p.m. and will have a $20+$5 buy-in with a $1,000 guarantee and a $5 optional staff buy. Chips will be $4,000/$2,000 and there will be one, $20 add-on for an additional $6,000 in chips.

The NLH Saturday events will be played at Noon and 7 p.m., except November 21, and will have a $35+$5 buy-in and a $5 optional staff buy. Chips will be $5,000/$2,000.

The Limit Fest Saturdays will be in play starting at 9 a.m., November 7, 14 and 21. Any quads made holding a pocket pair or better (both cards must be in play) will win $100 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $4-$8 Limit Hold’em and above. A free continental breakfast will be available for all live players from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The Black Friday Limit Flush Marathon will be in play from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., November 27, 28 and 29. First place will win $1,000; second, $500 and third, $300. It will take a $20 minimum plot to qualify and the Marathon will include No Limit and Limit Hold’em and will not roll over.

Pala Poker will hold $100 cash drawings from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays, November 1 and November 22. To qualify, players can earn entries while playing with their Privileges card every hour from October 28 to November 1 and from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, November 21.

Pala poker players also can participate in the casino-wide $96,400 Giveaway from Noon to 8 p.m. on Sundays, November 8, 15, 22 and 29 by playing with their Privileges card. The casino will award $100 every two minutes.

Continuing regular tournaments:

Thursday Deep Stack Turbo: 7:15 p.m.; the buy-in will be $45+$10 with a $1,200 guarantee and a $10 staff buy. Chips will $20,000/$5,000 and there will be $10 bounties, which will be added to the prize pool.

Friday Night 2K: 7:15 p.m.; the buy-in will be $35+$5 with a $2,000 guarantee and a $5 optional staff buy. Chips will be $4,000/$2,000. Late and re-entries will be allowed to three levels with a full stack.

Popular promotions that will continue include the High Hand, which will be in play from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Hold’em will pay $100 and Omaha, $75. The Limit Flush Marathon also will continue from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday and Friday for 3-6-9 players and above (with no carry over), as will the ever popular Chase for the Dough from Midnight, November 1, until Midnight, November 30, with a $10,000 prize pool. Players win by accumulating live-play hours. Forty hours wins $60; 60 hours gets $200 and 80 hours, $400. When players cash out, hours return to zero. The No Limit Rolling High Hand will be in play from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m., Monday through Thursday and 1 a.m. to 8 a.m., Saturday and Sunday.
