Pala announces winner of Quantum Reload poker tournament

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Jay Dagnenica, a poker player from Murrieta, CA, won $4,005 and the championship of the Quantum Reload poker tournament after an agreement to a five-way chop Sunday, July 24, at Pala Casino Spa and Resort.

Dagnenica, Rodney Clarida of Temecula CA; Frank Crivello of San Diego, CA; Tyler Petry of Westminster, CA, and Robert Lazarus of San Diego, CA, held the most chips after eight days of poker action. They agreed to chop and Dagnenica held the most chips and won the championship. Clarida won $3,248 for second; Crivello took home $3,200 for third; Petry, $2,646, for fourth and Lazarus $2,584 for fifth.

A total of 266 players vied for the $32, 230 prize pool and 20 cashed in the eight-day, 12- event tournament that started play on Saturday, July 16.
