Pala announces poker schedule for February20 January 2014PALA, Calif. -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Southern California poker players will have more opportunities to win cash in February at Pala Casino Resort and Spa when the Poker Room hosts a $500 Added All-In or Fold’em Free Roll Plus game at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 1 and 15 and two River Card Quest for the Cup tournaments at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 8 and 12 p.m., Saturday, February 22, with the final table at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 24. Pala also will host a President’s Day tournament at 10 a.m., Monday, February 17. The Poker Room will continue it popular cash promotions: Monday-Wednesday High Hand Hour, Chase for the Dough, Aces Cracked and Red Aces Cracked, Flush Marathon, Limit Flush Marathon and the new No Limit Flush Marathon along with its regular tournament schedule. To enter the $500 Added All-In or Fold’em Free Roll Plus, players just have to sign up with their Pala Privileges membership card. The game will offer a $5 staff bonus buy for an additional $2,000 in chips and $5 optional re-buys for five levels. The first River Card Quest for the Cup (Feb. 8) will have a $230 buy-in and a $20,000 estimated guarantee. Players will start with $12,000 in chips and blinds will be 30 minutes. The tournament will be played under the Pala signature structure and there will be late and re-entries for the first hour. The winner will have his/her named engraved on the River Card traveling trophy and will receive a replica of the trophy. The second River Card Quest for the Cup (Feb. 22-23) will have a $340 buy-in and a $45,000 estimated guarantee. Players will start with $15,000 in chips and blinds will be 40 minutes. This tournament also will be played under the Pala signature structure with late and re-entries for the first two hours. Saturday action will play down to the money with the final table on Sunday. The winner also will have his/her name engraved on the River Card traveling trophy and will receive a replica. The President’s Day event will be $50+$15+$5 with a $5,000 guarantee. Players will start with $4,000 in chips. There will be a $5 staff bonus buy for an additional $2,000 and one, $25 re-buy for $4,000 for four levels. February’s promotions will again include Aces Cracked-Red Aces Cracked from Noon to 10 p.m. each Tuesday; 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. each Wednesday, and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. each Thursday. There will be two winners per hour. Aces Cracked will pay $50 each and Red Aces Cracked $100 each. The Monday-Wednesday High Hand Hour, which will be in play from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will pay $100 each hour. Pala’s popular Chase for the Dough again will be in play from Midnight, February 1 until Midnight, February 28, with a $10,000 prize pool. Players win by accumulating live-play hours. Forty hours wins $60; 60 hours gets $200 and 80 hours, $400. When players cash out, hours return to zero. The Limit Flush Marathon will be in play from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. each Tuesday and Friday for Limit Hold’em players ($3, $6, $9 limit and above) only. The first player to receive all four flushes (each suit) will win $350, the second, $150. The regular Flush Marathon will be in play from 10:30 p.m. each Friday to 10:30 a.m. each Saturday. Blinds will be 12 minutes with late and re-entries for seven levels. Friday Night 2K: 7 p.m. The buy-in will be $35+$5 with a $2,000 guarantee. Players will start with $3,000 in chips and there will be a $5 optional staff bonus buy for $1,000 more. End of the Month 15K Nooner, New Date: The End of the Month 15K Nooner Championship will be played Sunday, February 16.. Registration will be accepted until 2 p.m. The entry fee will be $125 with a $15,000 guarantee. There will be two, $25 re-buys or add-ons.
