Pala announces April poker schedule18 March 2014(PRESS RELEASE) -- Southern California poker players will have more opportunities to win cash in April at Pala Casino Spa & Resort when the Poker Room adds a Sunday schedule to its Deep Stack Saturday events and starts a new Omaha High Hand promotion each Monday and Wednesday. The Poker Room also will continue its popular cash promotions: Monday-Wednesday High Hand Hour, Chase for the Dough, Aces Cracked and Red Aces Cracked, Flush Marathon, Limit Flush Marathon and the No Limit Flush Marathon along with its regular tournament schedule. The Saturday and Sunday Deep Stack tournaments will have a $125 buy-in with a $10,000 estimated guarantee. Players will start with $12,000 in chips and play will be regulated by the Pala signature structure. Blinds will be 30 minutes with late and re-entries allowed to four levels. Pala Poker is now spreading $3-$6, five-card Omaha from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Monday and Wednesday. The Omaha High Hand promotion will award $75 each hour. April’s promotions will again include Aces Cracked-Red Aces Cracked from Noon to 10 p.m. each Tuesday; 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. each Wednesday, and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. each Thursday. There will be two winners per hour. Aces Cracked will pay $50 each and Red Aces Cracked $100 each. The Monday,-Wednesday High Hand Hour, which will be in play from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will pay $100 each hour. Pala’s popular Chase for the Dough again will be in play from Midnight,April 1, until Midnight, April 30, with a $10,000 prize pool. Players win by accumulating live-play hours. Forty hours wins $60; 60 hours gets $200 and 80 hours, $400. When players cash out, hours return to zero. The Limit Flush Marathon will be in play from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. each Tuesday and Friday for Limit Hold’em players ($3, $6, $9 limit and above) only. The first player to receive all four flushes (each suit) will win $350, the second, $150. The Monday Night Late Night “No Limit” Flush Marathon will be in play from 3 p.m. to 3 a.m. The first player to receive all four flushes (each suit) will win $350, the second, $150. The April regular tournament schedule is: Thursday Deep Stack Turbo: 7 p.m. The buy-in will be $45+$10 with a $1,200 guarantee. Players will start with $20,000 in chips and there will be a $10 staff bonus buy for $5,000 more. There also will be $10 knockout bounties that will be included in the prize pool. Blinds will be 12 minutes with late and re-entries for seven levels. Friday Night 2K: 7 p.m. The buy-in will be $35+$5 with a $2,000 guarantee. Players will start with $3,000 in chips and there will be a $5 optional staff bonus buy for $1,000 more. End of the Month 15K Nooner: The End of the Month 15K Nooner Championship will be played Sunday, April 27. Registration will be accepted until 2 p.m. The entry fee will be $125 with a $15,000 guarantee. There will be two, $25 re-buys or add-ons. The winner’s name will be engraved on the Pala Signature Cup. |
