PA Gaming Control Board levies $73,075 in fines

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board approved four consent agreements today presented by the Board’s Office of Enforcement Counsel during its public meeting resulting in a total of $73,075 in fines.

The approved consent agreements were the result of negotiations between OEC and these three license holders representing two casinos and a Video Gaming Terminal establishment:

- Stadium Casino Westmoreland RE, LLC, operator of Live! Casino Pittsburgh in Westmoreland County, two fines totaling $30,000 and consisting of:
  • $20,000 for two instances in which individuals who were on the Board’s Casino Self-Exclusion List were permitted to gain entrance onto the gaming floor and gamble; and
  • $10,000 for permitting an individual under the minimum gambling of age of 21 to access the gaming floor and play slot machines;
- Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, Inc., a $25,000 fine for not providing the PGCB with ownership structure changes involving its five VGT Truck Stop Establishment locations;
- Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment, Inc., operator of Parx Casino & Racing in Bucks County, a fine of $18,075 for failure to submit two license renewal applications in a timely manner; and,

Copies of the approved consent agreements offering more details on this matter are available upon request through the Board’s Office of Communications.

The next meeting of the Board is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, 15 November 2023 in the Board’s Public Hearing Room located on the second floor of the Strawberry Square Complex in Harrisburg.
