Newest slots parlor sees $8.6 million in bets13 June 2007HOUSTON, Pennsylvania -- As reported by the Associated Press: "Gamblers bet $8.6 million when the state's newest slots parlor opened Monday, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board said. "Of that amount, gamblers at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino won $7.9 million. "...The numbers compare favorably to opening day numbers at the four other racetrack casinos that have opened since November. |
