Newcastle Casino's upcoming performances11 January 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- Newcastle Casino is kicking off the 2019 year with the January and February entertainment schedule. Guests will enjoy live music from local hit bands at the Newcastle stage located in the southeast building from 8 p.m. to midnight on the second and fourth Saturday of each month. The concerts are free and open to patrons 18 years of age and older. Additional details about upcoming featured bands are below. Saturday, 12 January – Midas 13 Midas 13 is a high-energy, five-piece band based in Oklahoma City. They cover tunes of all genres from the 70s to current hits. Saturday, 26 January – Stars The Stars have been a popular variety band throughout the region since the '80s. Playing a mixture of dance music, they are constantly evolving to continually perform top dance hits. Their play list includes music across the decades, spanning from The Beatles to Prince to Usher. Saturday, 9 February – Jason Young Band Jason Young started his musical career working for Nashville recording artist Ty England from 2000 to 2003. Since then Jason has shared the stage with artists Charlie Daniels, Turnpike Troubadours, Gary Allan, Blake Shelton and many more. Joining Young on lead guitar is Steven Adams, and other band members are bass player Mike Myers, keyboardist Christopher Ryan Bailey, fiddle and guitar player Matt Cottrell and drummer James Wyrick. Saturday, 23 February – Layken Urie Layken Urie is an Oklahoma City-based country music singer and songwriter, performing original songs as well as covering top country favorites. |
