Chickasaw Nation extends temporary closure date for casinos

Chickasaw Nation announced on Tuesday that Chickasaw Nation businesses, including casinos, will remain closed through 29 May to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

“We are extending these closures as part of our continuing efforts to protect the health and safety of our employees and guests,” Chickasaw Gov. Bill Anoatubby said in a press release. “Many of our employees will continue working from home and we will continue to compensate employees whose positions are inactive as a result of the pandemic.”

Anoatubby also said a reopening date has not been decided, but “when we begin reopening, we plan to implement extensive employee testing and contact tracing to help contain any resurgence of the virus.”



This includes all Chickasaw Nation Casino Operations: The Artesian Hotel Casino & Spa, Ada Gaming Center, Chickasaw Travel Stop - Ada Gaming West, Black Gold Casino, Border Casino, Chisholm Trail Casino, Chickasaw Travel Stop - Davis Gaming, Chickasaw Travel Stop - Thackerville, Gold Mountain Casino, Jet Stream Casino, Newcastle Casino, Newcastle Travel Gaming, Riverwind Casino, SaltCreek Casino, Texoma Casino, RiverStar Casino, Treasure Valley Casino & Hotel, Washita Casino, WinStar World Casino and Resort, Goldsby Gaming Center, Tishomingo Tobacco and Gaming.
