Newcastle Casino releases live entertainment schedule

5 October 2016

(PRESS RELEASE) -- At Newcastle Casino, Bands are scheduled to play on the entertainment stage in the southeast building from 8 p.m. to midnight on Saturdays from October through December. The concerts below are free and open to guests 18 years of age and older. For details about featured bands, see below.

Wino Browne – Saturday, 8 October
Wino Browne is one of Oklahoma City's best live bands and has been a part of the local live music scene since 2000. Jess Cockerham is the front man, Daniel Finley is on bass and vocals, Darren Finley is lead guitar and vocals and Chris Aragon is on drums and vocals. Their versatile song list keeps Wino Browne in the elite group of truly great local entertainment.

Push Play – Saturday, 15 October
More than a cover band, Push Play is a musical experience. The band offers a fantastic mix of professionalism and talent. Trading vocals and styles, they move from one genre to another, recreating hits of today and classics from decades past flawlessly.

Aaron Woods Band – Saturday, 22 October
The Aaron Woods Band is one of the more musically diverse groups in the Texas-Oklahoma red dirt scene. Soon after inception, the band established itself as one of the more relentless touring groups in Oklahoma, playing more than 100 shows a year. In early 2012, the band entered the studio, teaming up with producer Tony Peirce to record their debut album, "Signal from the South."

Avenue – Saturday, 29 October
Avenue is a four piece cover band formed from only the finest ingredients, playing all of the best pop, rock, hip-hop and more. Just a few of the artists covered: U2, INXS, Maroon 5, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Depeche Mode, Gavin DeGraw, Paula Abdul, The Killers, Rihanna and Prince.

Midas 13 – Saturday, 5 November
Midas 13 is a high-energy, five-piece band based in Oklahoma City. They cover tunes of all genres from the '70s to current hits.

Full Circle – Saturday, 12 November
Full Circle has been performing in the Oklahoma City metro for more than 23 years. They perform rock and a variety of songs from the decades.

Hook Echo – Saturday, 19 November
Hook Echo was established in 2011 with seasoned players from other Oklahoma City-based bands. They play a mixture of classic and modern pop-rock songs.

Electric Avenue – Saturday, 26 November
Electric Avenue is a talented ensemble of veteran musicians joined together to create one of the hottest up-and-coming dance party bands in the Oklahoma City area. Electric Avenue delivers high energy with new and old school Top 40 hits including rock, R&B, disco, hip-hop, and even a little country and Southern rock.

Life of the Party – Saturday, 10 December
With its high-energy blend of variety party music, Life of the Party has quickly become one of Oklahoma City's hottest party bands. Whether you have a taste for rock, pop, hip-hop or country, Life of the Party can do it all.

RPM Band – Saturday, 17 December
The RPM Band is a local favorite and class act. They play hits from the 1980s and '90s and pop tunes from today.

Lost On Utica – Saturday, 31 December
Playing everything from the Hollies to Bruno Mars, you will not find a more thought out, unique or diverse night of music. Combine that with an attention to sound and visual detail and your night on the town has the perfect living soundtrack.
