New Zealand Casino Happy with Carpark Security

EW ZEALAND -- As reported by the New Zealand Herald: "Sky City Casino says it is confident about the security of people in its carpark despite an abduction there.

"A Chinese student, believed to be in his 20s, was abducted soon after 9.30am from the carpark yesterday and subjected to a two-hour ordeal.

"The victim was forced into his own vehicle, driven around Auckland, forced to withdraw $700 from an ATM machine and dumped in suburban Mt Roskill. He then went to the Mt Albert Pak'n Save to notify police.

"The incident raised questions about the security of the carparks, which some employees believed could be targeted by criminals wanting to rob casino winners.

"...in a statement the business said it was happy with security and believed police would let them know whether there were any concerns..."
