New York woman wins $1 million at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City9 September 2024(PRESS RELEASE) -- A New York woman is now a millionaire courtesy of Caesars Atlantic City, Harrah's Atlantic City and Tropicana Atlantic City. The $1.5 Millionaire Maker Sweepstakes kicked off Memorial Day Weekend, and Caesars Rewards members had chances all summer to be entered into the running as well as win their share of over $500,000 in weekly prizes. The winner was awarded the grand prize at the finale at Harrah’s Resort on 1 September. “We were thrilled to introduce our $1.5 Millionaire Maker Sweepstakes this summer and make one of our Caesars Rewards members a millionaire,” said Gregg Klein, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Harrah’s Resort. “This is a life-changing moment, and you could feel the excitement in the venue as we announced Atlantic City’s newest millionaire.” All 30 finalists had to be present in The Concert Venue at Harrah’s Resort when the $1 million grand prize was awarded. The 29 other finalists each received $1,000 in Free Casino Play. Finalists were chosen from the weekly drawings and VIP events throughout the summer. Over 32,000 guests activated during the promotion, resulting in over 1 million entries. |
