Mountaineer Meet sees increased betting

WEST VIRGINIA -- The Mountaineer Casino Racetrack and Resort has seen improved results in 2013 with betting up 3.2% and purses up 9%, Blood Horse reported.

These are encouraging numbers given Mountaineer is small track, the report explained.

In 2014 the track will present 210 races, Blood Horse said.
