Mountaineer Casino workers vote to strike26 March 2008WEST VIRGINIA -- As reported by the Pittsburgh Tribune Review: "Workers at the Mountaineer Casino Racetrack & Resort in Chester, W.Va., voted Tuesday to reject the company's latest contract proposal and to authorize a strike. "Local 23 of the United Food & Commercial Workers, based in Canonsburg, represents more than 200 workers at the facility owned by MTR Gaming Group.
