Mohegan Sun to host Winter Chill Poker Tournament13 January 2026(PRESS RELEASE) -- Mohegan Sun is raising the stakes this February with the ultimate Winter Chill Tournament. Taking place 5-7 February, this no limit Texas Hold’em Poker tournament has a hefty $250,000 guaranteed prize pool with a pay structure that awards the top 12%. Entry fee for players is $1,200 and participants will begin with 35,000 in tournament chips, with an option to purchase an add on. On-site registration will take place in the Mohegan Sun Poker Room one hour before the start of each flight and will remain open until the beginning of level nine. To up the stakes even further, the player with the highest hand (three of a kind or better) at the end of level one on day one will receive their full buy-in back. Beyond the Winter Chill tournament, the Mohegan Sun Poker Room regularly offers daily “No Limit Texas Hold’em” and “Bounty” tournaments.
