Mohegan Sun sets dates for November poker tournament series28 October 2026(PRESS RELEASE) -- The stakes are rising once again at Mohegan Sun’s Poker Room as it gears up for a series of events as part of the Fall Showdown Poker Tournament, running 12-22 November. The action begins with a $400 multi-day No-Limit Texas Hold’em tournament with a $125,000 guarantee prize pool. Thursday, 19 November will start the $1,200 multiday No Limit Hold'em Main Event with a $275,000 guarantee prize pool. The Fall Showdown champion will be crowned on Sunday, 22 November. Players can earn entry into the Fall Showdown $1,200 Main Event through one of several satellite tournaments or buy-in directly. The satellite tournaments run from 12 November through 19 November. On-site registration for the Fall Showdown Poker Tournament will also be held in the Mohegan Sun Poker Room starting one hour prior to each event and will remain open until the beginning of level seven. The Fall Showdown Tournament also offers a robust lineup of daily tournaments, including No Limit Hold ‘Em, Bounties and Pot Limit Omaha, a poker game in which players receive four hole cards instead of two, and must use exactly two of those cards along with three community cards to make their best five-card hand. A full tournament schedule can be found on mohegansun.com/poker The Poker Room at Mohegan Sun also features a wide variety of daily cash game offerings including 7 Card Stud, Texas Hold’em, No Limit Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Razz, Badugi and 2-7 Triple Draw. In late October and throughout November, $500 High Hands also take place in the Poker Room, where cash is awarded to the winner of the highest qualifying hand (minimum of Aces Full or better). Players can also take advantage of a Black Friday High Hand Special on Friday, 27 November, featuring cash prizes awarded every 20 minutes from Noon through Midnight. High hands will earn $1,000 prizes from Noon to 2:00pm and again from 10:00pm to Midnight, while $500 prizes will be awarded from 2:00pm to 10:00pm. The promotion begins at Noon, with the first payout taking place at 12:20pm. |
