Mohegan Sun abandon lawsuit against high roller

CONNECTICUT -- The Mohegan Sun has dropped its lawsuit against a gambler who owes them $10 million in debt, The Day reported.

The case against Ausaf Umar Siddiqui was due to be heard in court this week, The Day reported.

Mr Siddiqui, who has other wire fraud and money laundering charges pending against him, wrote the casino a check for $10 million which bounced according to The Day report.

The case has drawn some questions generally on casinos relationship to high rollers who are often extended high markers, The Day report made note.
