Meadows Racetrack awards record slot jackpot14 February 2008OW LANDS, Pennsylvania -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Playing a $1 slot machine, a visitor to The Meadows Racetrack & Casino left with a $131,674 jackpot -- the highest in Western Pennsylvania history. The visitor, who wishes to remain anonymous, won the jackpot Jan. 25 after playing the "Sure Thing Slots," a progressive slots machine for 20 minutes. "The Meadows is pleased to provide this record payout," said Mike Graninger, vice president and general manager of The Meadows.
