Meadows Hires Contractor

PENNSYLVANIA – As reported by the Pittsburgh Business Times: "Operators of The Meadows race track, expecting to be awarded a casino license in the fall, have hired LPCiminelli as construction manager for the planned $450 million Meadows Racetrack & Casino project.

"LPCiminelli, of Buffalo, N.Y., will oversee work on a temporary casino and the permanent, 250,000-square-foot, two-story casino, which would hold 3,000 slot machines at the harness track in Washington County, Pa.

"…The Meadows likely would be the first bidder awarded a casino license in the Pittsburgh region by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board…"
