Los Angeles poker player wins Pala River Card No Limit Hold'em tournament1 June 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- Donnie Sitic, a poker player from Los Angeles, CA, won $14,027 and the championship of the Pala River Card No Limit Hold'em tournament after an agreement to a three-way chop Sunday, May 29, at Pala Casino Spa and Resort. Sitic, David Weyrick of Mission Viejo, CA, and Ranjit Randhawa of San Diego, CA, held the most chips after 11 days of poker action. They agreed to chop and played on more hand to determine the champ. Sitic won and earned one more dollar. Weyrick and Randhawa earned $14,026 each. A total of 427 players vied for the $81,130 prize pool and all 48 finalists cashed in the twelve-day event that started play on Saturday, May 14. All 48 winners included: 1.
