Live music in March at Newcastle Casino19 February 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- Newcastle Casino is rolling into spring with its March entertainment schedule. Guests will enjoy live music from local hit bands at the Newcastle stage located in the southeast building from 8 p.m. to midnight on the second and fourth Saturdays in March. The concerts are free and open to patrons 18 years of age and older. Newcastle is also hosting Wino Browne for a special St. Patrick’s Day performance on Sunday, 17 March from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. All patrons are encouraged to come out and celebrate the day. Newcastle’s three featured performances for March are: Saturday, 9 March – Drive A cover band based in Oklahoma City, Drive’s performances span a huge catalog of hits from the 1960s to today, including country, pop, rock and everything in between. Sunday, 17 March – Wino Browne Wino Browne will be taking the Newcastle stage as part of a special St. Patricks’ Day celebration. Brown has been a part of the local live music scene since 2000 and the band has a large and diverse repertoire ranging from rhythm and blues to rock and roll. Saturday, 23 March – Brandi Reloaded Brandi Reloaded is a high-energy, five-piece cover band that incorporates sonic and visual elements into their performances, with a professional light show accompanying a mix of rock, pop and country tunes at each sow. |
