Lake of the Torches hosts chicken challenge

LAC DU FLAMBEAU, Wisconsin -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Do you think you could go head-to-beak with a real chicken in a game of Tic-Tac-Toe? If you think you have what it takes, visit Lake of the Torches Resort Casino this summer when you could win $500 in the Chicken Challenge.

Lake of the Torches is hosting the Chicken Challenge every day in June, July, and August. As part of the challenge, Torchlight Club members will have the opportunity to compete with a real live chicken in a free game of Tic-Tac-Toe to win cash prizes.

"We welcome everyone in the state to head on over this summer and take part in this once-in-a-lifetime experience to match wits with a chicken!" said Michael J. Broderick, Director of Marketing. "This promotion has been featured all over the country, from Atlantic City to Southern California to Puerto Rico. We are very excited to bring this crazy promotion to the folks in the Northwoods."

"Listen up people, and listen good. I'm going to tell you we chickens are not going to take it anymore!" said G. Chicken, CEO of the Chicken Challenge and spokesperson for the dissident chickens. "You think you are smarter than a chicken? Well I'm going to prove that you're not by beating you at a game of Tic-Tac-Toe! Power to the chickens! Let the chickens speak! We're taking over! Oh, and one more thing; eat more beef!"

Torchlight Club members can play for free once each day from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. at the chicken corral located at the casino main entrance. Plus in June, we'll double the prize money on Fridays and Saturdays were you could win $1,000! And, don't miss our big unveiling of the Chicken Challenge on Sunday, June 1st at 11 a.m., with special activities and deals. There will be free gifts, special random cash drawings, an opportunity to meet "The Colonel" and get your picture with him, and special food offerings in the Eagle's Nest Restaurant and at the Game Time Grill.
