Kathy Griffin to perform two shows at Pala in December17 July 2015(PRESS RELEASE) -- Two-time EMMY-winning comedian Kathy Griffin will return to the Events Center stage for two performances at 8 p.m., Friday, December 4, and Saturday, December 5, at Pala Casino Resort and Spa. Griffin’s two previous appearances at Pala were sellouts. BellaDonna A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks and The PettyBreakers A Tribute to Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, will perform at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, September 12, at Pala’s new outdoor Starlight Theater. Tickets for both shows, $60, $50, $40 and $30, for Griffin and $10 for reserved seats in advance and $12 at the door for BellaDonna and The PettyBreakers, will go on sale, with no service charges, at 10 a.m., Friday, July 24, at the Pala box office and 1-877-946-7252. Tickets also will be available at www.startickets.com and 1-800-585-3737. Griffin’s multi-faceted career has been spurred by her rapid-fire wit and talent to adapt to the live stage, cable TV specials or network television comedy or drama productions. But, it was her reality show, “Kathy Griffin, My Life on the D-List” that aired on BRAVO that propelled her to stardom. The show aired for six years and was nominated for the Outstanding Reality Show EMMY every year. She won twice, in 2006 and 2007. She joined the competitive world of nighttime talk with her BRAVO pop culture show, “Kathy,” in 2012. |
