K-Ci and JoJo with special guests 112 and Silk to perform at Pala Casino20 April 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- Popular R&B duo K-Ci and JoJo will perform with special guests 112 and Silk in concert at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, July 9, at Pala Casino Spa and Resort’s Starlight Theater. K-Ci and JoJo released their first album, Love Always, in June 1997 and it spawned two Top 10 hits, “You Bring Me Up” and “Last Night’s Letter.” But, the third song, “All My Life,” charted number one for three weeks on the R&B Hot 100 K-Ci and JoJo won the American Music Award for Favorite R&B Band/Duo/Group and a Blockbuster Award for Best R&B Group. 112 is an R&B quartet from Atlanta, Georgia, who was artists on Bad Boy Records and in 2002 signed with Def Soul. They enjoyed great success with hits such as “Only You,” “Anywhere” and the Grammy Award-nominated single, “Peaches and Cream.” They won a Grammy in 1997 for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group with “I’ll Be Missing You.” Silk also is a popular R&B group from Atlanta. They are best known for their 1993 hit single, “Freak Me,” which ranked number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
