Jeff Beck and Buddy Guy to bring national tour to Pala Casino4 April 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- Rock/blues guitar legends Jeff Beck & Buddy Guy have announced a 2016 national tour and one date will be Friday, Aug. 12 at 8 p.m. at Pala Casino Spa and Resort's Starlight Theater. During a 50-year career, Beck has earned numerous accolades. He has been elected a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, first with the Yard Birds in 1992 and then as a solo artist in 2009. Rolling Stone ranks him one of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" and he has won eight Grammy Awards. Currently, he is working on his first book which focuses on his two great pursuits, hot rodding and rock and roll. A Chicago blues icon, Guy is ranked 38th by Rolling Stone. He has influenced all of the best including Beck along with Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Keith Richards, John Mayer and Stevie Ray Vaughn. His autobiography, When I Left Home, My Story, was published in 2012. |
