Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel to reopen on 1 June

Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel announced it will be welcoming back guests on 1 June. The Minnesota casino posted the below message on its website explaining the protocols that will be in place upon arrival.

"We have missed you and are excited to announce our reopening on Monday June 1, 2020 at 8am with reduced hours of operation of Sunday thru Thursday 8am-1am and Friday & Saturday 8am-3am. Our phase one reopening plans were made with much consideration for the health and safety of our guests and Team Members.

All guests and Team Members will be required to wear a mask when entering the property. Masks will be provided while supplies last and additional masks will be available for purchase in the gift shop. All guests and Team Members are expected to continue to follow social distancing guidelines.

Temperature checks will be performed at each entrance to the property for guests and Team Members. Anyone with a temperature exceeding 100.4 will not be permitted to enter the property.

The casino slot floor seating capacity has been reduced by nearly 50%, in addition, table games will be every other table with three players per blackjack table. At this time Bingo/pull tabs are unavailable. As an additional precaution, stylus pens will be available to limit unnecessary touching of slot machine and kiosks.

Food outlets will have reduced seating capacities of 50% with a limited menu and no buffet option at this time. Caribou Coffee will offer to go orders only. 2GO food outlet will remain closed. Beverage service will continue on the gaming floor and staffed with an attendant, self- serve stations are currently unavailable. Bar will be available at reduced capacities of 50%.

Lower Sioux Lodge will be open with 50% rooms available however, the pool, sauna, exercise room, arcade and business center remain closed. The hotel is completely non-smoking at this time. Please contact our Meeting/banquet staff for additional information regarding future availabilities and policies.

The Oyate Store convenience store remains open with limited hours. Our RV Park will be open, however the bathhouse will remain closed.

Dacotah Ridge Golf Club remains open and Wabasha Creek restaurant will be open for outdoor seating and curb-side service."
