Il Divo kicks off limited Las Vegas run at The Venetian22 September 2017(PRESS RELEASE) -- Last night, Il Divo, the world's first and most successful classical crossover group, kicked off its limited Las Vegas engagement, "Il Divo – This is Your Night: Live in Las Vegas," in The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Las Vegas. The foursome wowed the crowd with a number of classic and modern hits, including breathtaking renditions of "Hallelujah" and "Come What May," as well as a Frank Sinatra medley created specifically for the Las Vegas shows. Tickets to the remaining five performances (22, 23, 27, 29 and 30 September) can be purchased at any box office at The Venetian or The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino, online at Ticketmaster or The Venetian's website or by calling 702-414-9000 or 866-641-7469. All shows start at 8 p.m. The international quartet is comprised of tenor Urs Buhler of Switzerland, baritone Carlos Marin of Spain, pop artist Sébastien Izambard of France and tenor David Miller from the U.S. The foursome has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, achieved over 50 number one records, received 160 gold and platinum sales awards in over 33 countries and staged four groundbreaking world tours. Il Divo first came to fruition in 2003 and have been making music together for more than a decade. The multi-platinum group, who most recently brought their AMOR & PASION tour to North America in support of their seventh studio album of the same name, will treat fans to the ultimate Il Divo experience aboard the Royal Caribbean Brilliance of the Seas Cruise. The four-day cruise, to take place 30 November to 4 December will travel from Tampa to Cozumel. |
